Brooklyn Production Sound

Brooklyn has become one of the busiest production hubs on the East Coast. From the converted warehouses of Williamsburg and Greenpoint to the waterfront stages at Brooklyn Navy Yard and Steiner Studios, the borough hosts everything from indie documentaries to major network productions. I've been mixing sound on Brooklyn sets for over two decades, long before the current production boom.

I regularly work in DUMBO, Park Slope, Bushwick, Red Hook, and Crown Heights on projects ranging from branded content shoots in rooftop studios to verite documentary work following subjects through the streets. Brooklyn's mix of industrial spaces, brownstone interiors, and outdoor locations each present distinct sound challenges that I've learned to handle through years of experience.

From my base in northern New Jersey, I reach most Brooklyn locations in about an hour via the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge or through Manhattan. I carry a full professional sound kit that fits in a single vehicle, so parking at Brooklyn's warehouse-district shoots is straightforward compared to Manhattan.
